Sandip has gone far beyond the scope of Indian classical music and has collaborated with leading international musicians in the field of world and fusion music. Here you will find details on some of these projects and musicians.
 
· Since 2002 Sandip is working regularly with vocalist Monica Akihary, guitarist Niels Brouwer and cello player Ernst Reijseger.
   
· In 2000 Sandip started his own fusion-group 'Synergy'. In 'Synergy' he invites and works with high-class musicians from different musical styles and presents a fresh and exciting mix of music from around the world. He regularly performs with his 'Synergy - Group' around Europe.
   
· Sandip has toured extensively in Europe with the famous Sami singer Mari Boine, and performed with her and the well-known fusion group Vedaki at the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2000.
   
· His collaboration with Vedaki (Vershki da Koreshki) brought a different kind of interaction and color to the music of the group.
   
· He worked together with the Dutch jazz bass player Tjitze Vogel and the prominent Iraqi musician Mohammad Gomar in the 'South of no Border' project in 2000/2001.
 

Sandip uses a variety of instruments in world music and fusion projects


· He plays regularly with the well-known Dutch guitarist Jan Kuiper.
   
· He teamed up with the Dutch flamenco guitarist Eric Vaarzon Morel and toured extensively with him around Holland in 1997 and 1998.
   
· Alongside the Belgian percussionist & composer Bo VerSpaendonck he worked on the project 'Moh-Pah' and toured with it throughout the country.
   
· He works regularly with percussionists Nippy Noya and Ali N'Diaye Rose (son of Senegal's master drummer Doudou N'Diaye Rose).
   
· He teamed up with the noted Taiko drummer Leonardo Eto in Japan.

· He has worked with many other drummers from around the world including Mohamed Ben Chakhchakh (Morocco), Mousse Pathe M'baye (Senegal), Juchi Cordoba (Curacao), Martin Franklin (England), Koichi Kitajawa (Japan), Manik Munde (N. India), S.V. Giridhar (S. India) and Shyam Sridhar (S. India).
   
· He works on a regular base with the German based fusion group 'Chanchala' with Charles Davis (jazz flute) and Joachim Hübner (Indian bamboo flute).
   
· His performances with world famous jazz pianist Yamasita Yosuke and saxophonist Umezu Kazutoki, both from Japan, have been highly acclaimed.
   
· He is an excellent singer and in high demand in the European jazz and fusion circuit, where besides playing tabla and percussion, he also performs as a vocalist.
   
· He composes his own melodies and lyrics, which suit his melodious voice very well. In his songs he combines elements of Indian classical music with folk songs from different regions of his country.
   
· He has worked as a vocalist/composer with musicians from India, Europe, Japan, Africa, Central Asia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
   
· He composed music for modern ballet group Scapino (Rotterdam) and toured with their production Romeo & Julia from 1995 to 1997.
   
· He has composed the music for the documentary-film 'Bombay'.
   
· He composed and performed for the children-theater 'Hol-land' produced by theater-group 'Het Filiaal'.
